Early morning you will be picked up by our Egyptologiest tour guide to visit Alexandria; one of the wonderful cities in Egypt, Alexandria was founded by Alexander the Great in 332 B.C. and was the capital of Graeco-Roman Egypt. Your first stop will be at the catacombs of Kom ash-Shuqqafa, a Roman burial site for family, where you will see the combaination between the Egyptian & the Roman archetictecture, then to Pompay pillar, an 82-feet (25-meter) granite column built to honor Emperor Diocletian, who brought food to its starving people. After that visit Qaitbay Citadel situated at the entrance of the eastern harbor of the city, enjoy your lunch in one of the tasty local restaurant, continue your tour to the great Alexandria library, travel back to your hotel in Cairo.
